Valkyrie Doughnuts

The doughnuts here are amazing!! And they’re vegan. I posted this on my social media and OF COURSE I got responses like “that’s stupid, how do you make vegan doughnuts.” Obviously without milk, eggs, or anything else that could possibly come from an animal in any way. Not rocket science friends. Even if you aren’t vegan, you should visit Valkyrie. These doughnuts are for everyone simply because good food is for everyone.

Did they taste differently than normal doughnuts? Nope. They tasted just as good. I got the Churro and Cookies n Creme doughnuts. The Cookies n Creme was actually the best variation of this type of doughnut I’ve ever had from any bakery. The dough wasn’t overwhelming and I actually wanted another one when I finished. Being that it’s vegan, it is guilt free eating in a way. (At least that't what I'm telling myself.) So what’s the catch? They were so large that if you ate more than one in a single sitting, you might drown in guilt. Doughnuts are still a dessert. Just because it’s vegan doesn't mean you can eat as many as you please. (That was actually just a daily reminder to myself.) Visit multiple times or buy multiple doughnuts and take them home to eat later. Either way, you need to incorporate these doughnuts into your existence. These doughnuts are definitely something you don't want to miss out on!

Price: $3 each and they also have dozen and half dozen specials. The doughnuts are almost the size of my entire hand so I’d say the prices are appropriate.

Decor: Clean, consistent, nice colors, excellent design.

Occasion: There’s never a wrong time for doughnuts. “Treat yoself”
